Each vintage of the gorgeous Aunt Lee Syrah is complex and dark, very old world in style offering rich floral and dark fruit aromas as well as ripe dark fruit like plum, blackberry and black cherry, and savory notes of black pepper, sweet tobacco, dried herbs, olive tapenade, and smoky minerals, on the palate with soft tannins. A beautiful expression of Syrah from Washington! A soulful syrah that begs for Wood fired Wild Mushroom Flatbread, Braised lamb shank with rosemary polenta, smoked brisket or espresso rubbed roasted eggplant with Lord Huron, The Black Keys or Nathaniel Rateliff through the speakers.
